Frequently Asked
Questions
Answers to the questions we are asked most about ordering, delivery, payment and our products.
Ordering
Do I need an account to place an order?
No. You can check out as a guest with just your name, telephone number and delivery details. If you would rather keep your addresses and order history in one place, you can create an account at any time — including after you have ordered.
How do I order a quantity that is not in the shop?
Use the "Request a Quote" form. Tell us what you need, how much of it and where it is going, and our team will price it and send you a quotation. If you accept it, we turn the quotation into an order for you.
Can I change or cancel an order after placing it?
An order can be cancelled from your account, or by calling us, while it is still pending or confirmed and has not been paid for. Once it has been paid for or dispatched, please contact us and we will tell you what is possible.
How do I track my order?
Every order gets an order number. Go to the Track Order page and enter that number together with the telephone number you ordered with — no account needed. Account holders can also see every order under My Account.
Delivery & Pickup
Do you deliver, or do I have to collect?
Both. At checkout you choose delivery to your site or address, or free collection from the depot. If you choose collection, wait until we tell you the order is ready before travelling.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is priced by region, and some towns have their own rate. The fee for your address is worked out at checkout and shown to you before you pay, and it is confirmed when we confirm your order.
How long will delivery take?
It depends on the region, the quantity and the type of goods. The working-day estimate for your area is shown at checkout, and we confirm the actual date when we confirm the order.
Will you offload the materials on site?
Offloading is by arrangement. Tell us when you order if you need help, and we will confirm what is involved. Please make sure a loaded truck can reach the site and that somebody is there to receive the goods.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Depending on what is switched on at the time, you can pay by Mobile Money, debit or credit card, bank transfer, cash on delivery, or cash when you collect at the depot. The options available to you are shown at checkout.
Is it safe to pay online?
Yes. Card and Mobile Money payments are handled by our payment provider — we never see or store your card or wallet credentials.
Can I pay when the goods arrive?
Where cash on delivery is offered for your order, yes: you pay the driver on delivery. If you are collecting, you can pay at the depot instead. Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full.
Products
Are the products always in stock?
Stock levels shown on the site are live. If something is out of stock, the product page will say so, and you can request a quotation instead so we can tell you when it will be available.
Why do some products show sizes or grades to choose from?
Materials such as iron rods, blocks and doors come in several specifications. Pick the size, diameter, length or finish you need on the product page and the price will update to match.
Do you supply to contractors and large projects?
Yes. For project quantities, use the quotation form rather than the shop — you will get a priced schedule for the whole order, and one point of contact for delivery.
Land & Property
How do I enquire about a property listing?
Every listing has an enquiry form. Send your details and preferred way of being contacted, and our property team will get back to you with documents and the next steps.
Why do some listings not show a price?
Some land and property is advertised per plot, as negotiable, or on request. Where no figure is published, send an enquiry and the team will give you the current terms.
Can I see the site documents before I commit?
Yes. Site plans and title documentation are released by our team once you have made an enquiry. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell — every transaction goes through due diligence and formal documentation.
Still have a question?
Our team is happy to talk it through with you.
